βI'm curious why this is saying the shrimp will cook in 15-20 minutes, when every other recipe for sausage and shrimp gumbo I've been reading says it should take shrimp anywhere from 2 to 6 minutes (but 2 minutes sounds low...) to properly cook in a gumbo -inclβ β a cook
βComing from a lifelong resident of southeast Louisiana, if your gumbo comes out orange, you did something terribly wrong. Try cooking your roux much longer until the color of milk chocolate, or at least peanut butter. Also, I know few people that use tomatoes.β β a cook
