βI made this recipe and it was OK. Hats off to the people that comment upon its authenticity but as an okra chicken stew it was pretty good. A couple of comments however. People that cook with and write recipes that call for boneless cuts of meat are generally β β a cook
βI have made this twice in as many days, both times the roux didn't brown at all, even after 30 minutes of cooking and stirring. The flavors are awesome, not even spicy, which was good since the first batch was for the residents at the nursing home where I workβ β a cook
