βI haven't made this recipe yet, I just made a big pot of Chicken Andouille Gumbo last week. This is a solid recipe and mine is very similar, however it takes longer than 20β25 minutes to get a good dark roux without burning it, and using a whisk will leave edgβ β a cook, 4β
βGreat idea for post Thanksgiving leftover turkey. Temp to make roux ( oil and flour) was way too high . Roux should be chocolate ( milk or dark) colored, but take at least 20 minutes and consistency of wall paper paste to receive onions and veggies. Mine was yβ β a cook, 3β
