βI've always made crispy carnitas using my Crock Pot. Takes forever on low or high. Yesterday morning I went in search of an Instant Pot recipe and found yours. Thirty minutes of cooking is way better than 5 to 8 hours, though you do get ample clean up time β β a cook, 5.0β
βI'm from South Texas and honestly wasn't expecting this outcome with the title being carnitas. It came out more like carne guisada than carnitas. In fact I removed the broth, turned it into a thick gravy, and just added it back to the pot and served it as carnβ β a cook, 5.0β
