βI don't write a lot of reviews but I had to for this one. I was looking for an easy gumbo recipe after my 8-year-old loved the gumbo at a Bubba Gump restaurant. (Who'd have thought?) I had never made gumbo before and some of the recipes just look so laborious.β β a cook, 5β
βWell, I may not have made it - but I used for ingredient measurements and cook times. It was an adventure. Couldn't get andouille so I used farmer's sausage. Thought I'd be smart and use bacon grease instead of canola for the roux. (Good, but salty). Argentiniβ β a cook, 4β
