βAll in all, this is an excellent recipe, but I reduced the rating to 4 stars only because it doesn't have to be quite so labor intensive or use so many bowls. Changes that I made were primarily because I made the batter the night before , and I had only 2 cuβ β a cook, 4.0β
βI loved this recipe! True belgian waffles are a yeast batter, and this one is very genuine. My only gripe is that it makes a lot of dishes (yeast, butter, milk, mixing bowl, egg whites). I subbed one cup of whole wheat flour with no noticeable effect on texturβ β a cook, 5.0β
